Welcome to the panorama restaurant at the Marienturm.
“Your culinary delight is our passion”.
Here the boss of the house still cooks himself. On our menu you will find a variety of dishes: classic Thuringian cuisine such as Sauerbraten or Roulade with red cabbage and handmade, real Thuringian dumplings, carpaccio or a salad of the season.
Let us treat you to our culinary delights!
We pay a lot of attention to sustainability. Therefore, it is close to our heart to continue to minimize our CO2 footprint. Regional products from local farms are combined with high quality ingredients from all over the world.
Of course, we also make the jams and marmalades for breakfast and the Thuringian holiday cake ourselves with much love and joy. Our industrious bee colony provides homemade honey. For big and small children we present homemade ice cream creations. You are guaranteed to taste it. Enjoy your meal.

Food orders can be taken until 9 pm.
For events, family celebrations, conferences (from 10 persons) or
during the season, we are happy to be there for you outside opening hours!
Special dates
24.12. in the evening restaurant service for hotel guests and reservations.
31.12. from 18.00 New Year’s Eve gala with 6-course gourmet menu including
drinks, cocktail snacks at night, music and dancing until the early morning hours
and in-house high-altitude fireworks!
